The concept is as simple as it is effective: if women can’t access education, we simply bring education to them. Our buses act as travelling schools—the bus enters a village centre, local facilitators set up a tent next to the bus which caters up to 30 women, allowing women to receive training right on their doorstep.

One of the first steps during the Buzz Women workshop is for the women to identify their personal and business-related financial situation. This offers clear insight into the income, expenses, possessions and debts of the whole family. The women are then asked to outline their ambitions and goals, and work together to develop their entrepreneurial skills.
3 ... In a sustainable way
Each Buzz Women workshop kickstarts a long-term learning process taking at least three years. Each workshop group selects their own group leader, known as an “anchorwoman”. Each of these anchorwomen undergo an intense leadership journey to work on their personal development, ensuring that they become powerful role models and sources of inspiration for other women. Anchorwomen organize monthly group meetings so that participants can share their experiences and learn from each other. Buzz Women then ensures that any new knowledge is made continuously available through a digital learning environment called Buzz Digital. For women who want to expand their enterprise we offer a tailor made follow-up workshop called Buzz Business. Last but not least, Buzz Green encourages women to work towards a ‘green’ and sustainable form of entrepreneurship.
